SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY

Summer School 2021 - Academic and Arts Programs After over a year of Distance Learning, Encore believes that there are many students that need and want to spend some time improving their grades and improving their overall knowledge. This year's summer school program will offer in person instruction for remediation and arts programs. For students wanting to work ahead or are not available for in person summer school, they can opt for the summer work ahead online programs through Cyber High or the summer makeup packet for credit recovery. Encore is here to support our students and their ongoing achievement.

To register for summer school, please contact the front office by calling 760-956-2632. When you call press "0" to talk to one of our staff in the front office. They will place you on a list for summer school and your counselor will return your call to help you with all of your summer school needs. Limited space is available for in-person instruction.

TWO IN PERSON SESSIONS - Summer school will be running in two separate sessions to cover two separate topics this summer. The session runs from 8:30 - 3:30 pm and in person attendance is required for all days of the session in order to gain credit. Any absence on any day from the program forfeits the enrollment into the in-person session.

  • July 12 - 16 is session 1 - Students will complete credit recovery/improvement for academic classes during this time

  • July 26 - 30 is session 2 - Students will complete credit recovery/improvement for academic classes during this time

ONLINE SUMMER LEARNING - Students wishing to work ahead using Encore's online programs are required to meet with their coordinator once a week during the summer for updates. If the student misses any of the meetings with their coordinator during the summer, they forfeit enrollment into the distance learning session. The meetings are on Zoom and are held each week at the same predetermined time. Meetings will be held on Fridays (June 25, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20). Final grades for online summer learning will be completed and uploaded to transcripts by September 20, 2021. Students will be able to use Encore's 24/7 tutoring platform for support when needed for this online summer learning. Any course offered on CyberHigh is available for registration during the summer.
