Assistance with Technology (Zoom access)

As part of our ongoing measures to ensure our students academic and arts experience at Encore remains safe while distance learning, Encore added additional security measures for students when signing into their technology platforms. When signing into any Encore devise or platform, students must use their Encore Gmail account in order to gain access.

• If a student is signing into their Chromebook, they must use their Encore issued email and password.

• For Encorestudent.com students need to select the "Sign in with Google" button at the top of the website.

• For Cyber High, students will use their username and password that was provided to students when Chromebooks were disbursed. User names and passwords are both case sensitive.

• When signing into Zoom, students need to select "Sign in" at the top right of the web page. Then, students will scroll down and select "Sign in with Google" and it should take you to your Zoom meeting.

• If you're signed into Zoom using a personal account, you must completely sign out by selecting the option of the top right of the website and completely sign out. Students can then return to the main Zoom website and select "Join Meeting."

It is critical that whenever a student is logging in to any Encore platform that they are using their Encore student account email and not a personal account. Students using personal email accounts will have trouble accessing technology and will likely be exited from programs and platforms. Encore has put this safety measure into place to make sure the people in Encore's classrooms are supposed to be there. The internet can host a wide variety of people, so Encore's discipline team is diligent in making sure that our staff and our students are safe. If you see something, say something.
