CREATIVE ACADEMICSOCTOBER 2020
GENERAL
Encore has adapted to the societal norms by adapting our recurring creative academic eventsto be virtually accessible. Student engagement has been a challenge as we are combating“zoom-fatigue” and various other stressors. The Creative Director of academics has workedcollaboratively with counselors and teachers to encourage student participation by offeringin-class incentives and support. Despite narrowing participation, Encore continues to offercreative academic events as studies show such events may boost confidence, build knowledge, and enhance cognitive abilities.
