Encore will have been closed to on campus, in person learning for a full year as of March 13, 2021. The purpose of this communiation is to provide you with updates regarding important updates on our progress to serve some students on campus and the safety measures that we have in place. Our top priority is to provide a safe environment for our students, staff, and families during this time.
Currently, Encore's campuses remain closed for full in-person (100 percent of students on campus) and Hybrid learning (50 percent of students on campus). EHS does have small groups of students on campus under the Small Cohort Learning Model for students with specific needs. Encore has also started some practices for teams (outdoors only) and some master classes (outdoors only) under the guidance and approval of San Bernardino County Health Department.
Encore continues to monitor and plans to increase on campus offerings as local public health conditions and EHS safety standards permit. As the county and the state release new details about reopening schools, our administration is taking part in professional development to make sure that we are in compliance with the state, county, and authorizer expectations. As we are permitted to reopen, we will be using the program choices that families made at the beginning of the year for students returning to campus for on campus learning.
Keep watching the blog to get critical updates to the reopening of the Encore campus. Thank you for your patience.
