The creativity from Encore's students never ceases to amaze me. While a lot of us are working on the Covid-19 (meaning the 19 pounds we've gained since we started binging Netflix in March), others of us have moved forward in pursuit of our careers. Marco J. Gochez, a senior at Encore High School, has used the tools that he has learned in his arts career classes to write and publish his own book!
Marco J. Gochez is a seventeen-year-old Salvadoran author from Southern California. In OMJG, he tells stories from his life about spontaneously moving to the United States after growing up in El Salvador, starring in TV Commercials, and gaining and losing friends. Marco shines a fresh light on American childhood in his heartfelt memoir.
