With San Bernardino County now moved into the orange tier for COVID-19, we are happy to say that Encore is opening for in person instruction for grades 9 and 10 that signed up for the Traditional and Hybrid programs on Monday, April 12, 2021. Students must show proof of a negative COVID test that is less than ten days old and must submit to a health check before leaving their car. If you would like to check your chosen program, you can call the front office at 760-956-2632 and speak to the front desk.
Since San Bernardino County has moved to the orange tier, Encore is changing the requirement for students with negative COVID tests to monthly instead of twice monthly. Students that have received the vaccine will not have to test after two weeks of the second vaccine booster. Students not wishing to test or vaccinate are welcome to continue on Encore's COVID program which includes real time instruction via Zoom.
We are very excited for all of our kids to be back on campus. We are taking baby steps as we reopen. If you want to switch your program, please contact the front office and they will be happy to assist you with information regarding changing programs.
Junior and Seniors have already returned to campus for Traditional and Hybrid students.
Sophomors and Freshman start on April 12 for Traditional and Hybrid students.
Eighth grade students will start on Monday April 19 for Traditional and Hybrid students.
Seventh grade students will start on Monday April 26 for Traditional and Hybrid students.
Our office is confirming participation for in person learning for all students. If you originally chose the Traditional or Hybrid program and have since changed your mind, please let the office know. We have a waiting list for students wanting to change into those programs.
High school students will attend school four days per week, Monday through Thursday.
Junior high students may be attending school two days per week in cohorts based on the response from our physical phone call. Please make sure to respond.
Bus transportation is still suspended due to COVID guidelines.
Thank you so much for your support and have a great day.
What about the kids that are on the COVID program? What is going to happen with them?
