Tutoring & Academic Support


Encore High School is committed to provide tutoring and academic support services in person and virtually during this time of COVID-19 learning alterations.


Encore provides the following resources for our students:

  • TEACHER TUTORING MORNINGS FROM 7:45 AM - 8:15 AM: Beginning on April 6, the teacher tutoring schedule will change. On Wednesdays and Fridays, teachers will be available for online tutoring only. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, teachers will be available for in person tutoring. Students can sign up for tutoring with their academic teacher through Google Classroom.

  • PEER TUTORING: Encore's National Honor Society and California Scholastic Federation are available to set up peer tutoring both in person and via Zoom. Students can sign up for peer tutoring by contacting the advisor, Mr. John Parker at jparker@encorehighschool.com

  • ESSAY REVIEW: This is a NEW NEW NEW service for Encore students. If you would like someone to provide feedback for essays, class assignments, scholarship essays, and personal statements - you can do so by uploading the work and emailing to to info@encorehighschool.com. When emailing say that you are requesting review of your work.

You can also access additional outside resources for help with all subjects (and especially math) by visiting www.khanacademy.com and wolframalpha.com
