What Happened At The Board Meeting This Week

Encore's School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 12th. We thank everyone that joined us remotely to participate in the meeting.

24/7 Tutoring - For those of you that missed it, we had some housekeeping and some exciting things happen that will help Encore improve programs. First, Encore's Board approved the implementation of Princeton Review's Tutoring platform for all Encore students. Once implemented, any student of Encore will be able to log in and get tutoring help 24 hours a day 7 days a week from professionals from Princeton Review. We are very excited to be implementing this support for all of our students. More information on the implementation of this program will be coming soon.

Data & Data Analysis - Encore adopted a new plan for a deeper incorporation of data correlating with independent student success.

COVID vaccination and testing policies - In light of the school reopening plans, these policies were adopted by the School Board.

Board Policies - As part of Encore's updates, the board adopted several policies to make sure they are up to date.

ESG Accounting - In order to update bookkeeping practices, Encore adopted a plan to move the multiple accounting platforms used for the Student Services account to a single accounting platform called ASBWorks. This was a recommendation from Encore's new on site fiscal controller.
